What's included
Everything a new yard needs, in the right order
Each step sets up the next one. Doing them in order, with one crew, is how you avoid tearing up new sod to fix a sprinkler line.
1 · Grade & drainage
Final grade set so water runs away from the foundation, and the low spots the builder left behind fixed.
2 · Walls & hardscape prep
Retaining walls for sloped lots, plus the dig-out and base for pads, walkways and curbing. Retaining walls
3 · Sprinkler system
Zones laid out for even coverage, valves and manifold, drip for beds and trees, and a smart controller.
4 · Sod & lawn
Lawn where you'll actually use it, on ground that's prepped and leveled first.
5 · Rock, beds & planting
Decorative rock, curbing and edging, and drought-tolerant plants on drip.
6 · Walkthrough
We run every zone with you and show you how to set the controller for the season.

Water-wise from day one
Plan a low-water yard now, not later
It costs less to build a water-wise yard from the start than to tear out lawn in a few years. Keep lawn where kids and dogs use it, put beds and trees on drip, and skip grass in narrow strips that spray heads can't water well.
A growing number of Utah cities have water-wise rules for new yards, like no lawn in narrow park strips, and many HOAs have landscaping rules of their own. We check yours before we design.
About rebates: Utah's lawn-replacement rebate pays to replace existing lawn, so a bare new-build yard usually doesn't qualify. Building it water-wise the first time is where the savings are. Xeriscaping
Timing
We can start now
Ready when you are
Grading, retaining walls, hardscape prep and the sprinkler system can get going right away, so your yard is done sooner.
Phase it if you need to
Front yard now and backyard next year is common. We set the grades and sprinkler mainline so the next phase ties in cleanly.

One crew for the whole yard
Sergio and his crew were awesome! They did great work, communicated well throughout the whole process, were honest and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future. We hired them to do a whole remodel of our landscaping including installing sprinklers, cement curbing, sod and xeriscaping. It turned out great, we are very pleased with the quality and care that went into their work.
Sergio helped me with a few landscape retaining walls in my backyard, they turned out great!
Sergio did a great job explaining what was going on with our system and explaining different options to fix it within our budget! We came up with a plan and he was diligent and honest with his work. Everything looks and works fantastic! A+

Questions
Common questions
Do you install the sprinkler system too?
Yes. We lay out the zones, install the valves, heads and drip, and set up a smart controller. And since we repair sprinklers too, you have someone to call later.
Can you do the front yard now and the back later?
Yes. Many new-build owners do the front first. We set the grades and sprinkler mainline so the backyard ties in cleanly when you're ready.
My lot is on a slope. Can you handle that?
Yes. Grading, terraces and retaining walls are part of what we do. See retaining walls.
Does a new-build yard qualify for Utah's lawn-replacement rebate?
Usually not. That rebate pays to replace existing lawn, and the program has to see and approve the lawn before it comes out. A water-wise design from the start saves you the water instead.
Can you work with my HOA's landscaping rules?
Yes. Send us the rules with your plans and we'll design the yard to them.
When can you start?
Right away. Estimates are free, so call or text to set up a time to walk the lot.
Are estimates free?
Yes. We'll walk the lot with you and give you a clear price before any work starts.
